As Salamu Alykum

Alhamdulillah, Annual Flag Hoisting for Rabi-ul-Aakhir 1448 AH was held in Dargah Shareef on Saturday - 12th Sept 2026, after Maghrib Salah.

The flag Hoisting is done to honour the month of Rabi-ul-Aakhir, which is the month attributed and dedicated to the great saint and leader of the Awliya Allah, Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani RA. 

The function was led with Salam, Fatiha (Qur'an Recitation) and Salam by Sajjada Nasheen Prof. Dr. H.M Tahir Bijli Sahib. Many disciples and devotees from across the country attended the event and sought blessings at the Maqaam.

Report on Twelve Nights of Milad Mahafil – Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 AH

Alhamdulillah, twelve Milad Mahafil were held from the 1st to the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 AH at the Dargah Shareef of Hazrath Syed Hasan Moulana Baghdadi رضي الله عنه, 235, Linghi Chetty Street, Mannady, Chennai – 01.

Held daily from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM under the guidance of Sajjada Nashin Dr. H. M. Tahir Bijli, the gatherings were attended by devotees, disciples, and well-wishers with devotion and enthusiasm.

Each evening included Naat, Salaam, Fatiha, and Dua, commemorating the blessed birth, noble character, and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The programme concluded with prayers for acceptance, peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the Ummah. It was a spiritually enriching occasion filled with love for Rasulullah ﷺ, remembrance, and unity.

On 9th February 2026, at sharp 10:00 PM, the 125th Fatiha was observed to mark the anniversary of the revered Shaykh and spiritual teacher of Hazrath Syed Hasan Moulana Baghdadi (RA) — who rests in Colombo, Sri Lanka — Hazrath Hafiz Shaykh-ul-Qurra Syed Muhammad Salih al-Madani (RA), popularly known as Tasbeeh Moulana.
The blessed commemoration took place at Dargah-e-Hazrath Syed Hasan Moulana Baghdadi (RA), Chennai, and began with Zikr, followed by Salaam, Sandal, and Fatiha. Throughout the night, heartfelt Naat and Qasaaid were recited. The function was led by the Sajjada Nasheen, Prof. Dr. Tahir Bijli.
The programme concluded before the Azaan of Fajr, Alhamdulillah.
